Jamil Dewsi is a startup operator and investor. As the VP of Business Development and one of the earliest employees at DarwinAI, he has played an integral role in driving the company’s go-to-market strategy and strategic partnerships, which helped transform DarwinAI into a leading AI technology startup.  The company was selected by CBInsights for its AI 100 annual list of the 100 most promising private AI companies in the world in both 2020 and 2021.

Before joining DarwinAI, Jamil had a successful career in investment banking. He spent five years working in Silicon Valley and New York, where he advised some of the world’s leading technology companies and private equity firms on more than $2 billion worth of M&A transactions and helped raise over $150 million in venture capital. Throughout his investment banking career, Jamil worked on deals with companies like Intuit, Nasdaq, and Google, and gained a deep understanding of the tech industry.

In addition to his work at DarwinAI and investment banking career, Jamil is also an active angel investor. He has invested in a dozen early and late-stage companies, leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise to help these companies grow and succeed.
