

Ric Escobedo, LCSW
Ric Escobedo, MSW, LCSW is a descendant of the Wixárika people from the Sierra Madre Occidental Mountains in what is now known as Mexico. Ric is Chief of Strategy and Founder of KIERI Healing Sanctuary. KIERI, integrates traditional healing methods, Ecotherapy, and earth-based practices with sustainable conservation.
Ric’s dynamic resume includes clinical experience at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital and Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Ric is a mentor at the Berkeley Center for Science and Psychedelics, a knowledge keeper and healer. He volunteers and strategically advises nonprofits whose missions are to connect people to the natural world, conservation focused and outdoor education. He is certified in Individual and Group Crisis, Psychedelic Therapies and Research, and Climate Action Planning. Ric served on the Washington state Governors’ HCA Psilocybin Task Group.
